BloggingExperiment.com is fast growing authoritative blog about blogging, internet marketing and making money online. The site has shown steady growth and produced a steady stream of income, bringing in approximately $5,000 so far in 2008!
The biggest question will no doubt be "Why are you selling" and although it's a popular answer, I have a new project that I would like to invest the funds into. I'd love to be able to keep the site as well as work on the new project but working a full time job just doesn't allow for that.
Stats and Rankings:

- Technorati: Top 10k ranking (8,200)
- RSS Readership: Over 900 readers are subscribed (as high as 1,000 at a couple of points)
- Over 46k backlinks from other sites (according to Yahoo)

- #34 on 45n5.com's Top 100 Make Money Online blogs
I publish posts once a day during the week for a total of 5 posts a week. There are several regular features established to help guide the posting if needed. Total time spent per week on the site is about 10 hours.
The BloggingExperiment brand has been very well established in the "Make Money Online" niche. The site has been featured on Problogger.net, JohnChow.com, and had a guest post published on ZenHabits.net. The site has appeared on the front page of Digg.com 10 times in the last 7 months! The site also enjoys several top 10 rankings in Google for terms such as "Make money blogging" etc.
Also included in the sale are the two professionally designed, premium WordPress themes that are currently for sale on the site. The theme is incredibly easy to customize and has been a great money maker with little to no advertising. Theme sales and delivery are automated through e-junkie.com and an affiliate program is also in place.
The blog is a great site and has provided a consistent income for me. The inclusion of the two WordPress themes makes this auction unique as very few sites in this niche have their own product offering. There are currently around 20 draft posts started which can be used by the new owner. I will also offer up my services to continue writing for the site during the transition period to be determined with the winning bidder.
This sale also includes ownership of the bloggingexperiment.com, .net, .org, .biz, and .info domains.
Payment is to be made either via PayPal or Escrow.

Income breakdown for February:
Private Advertising: $210
Sponsored Reviews: $100
Affiliate Sales: $91
WordPress Theme Sales: $1,425
TOTAL: $1,826
The average income so far in 2008 is right around $1,650 but as you can see from February's earnings, can certainly come in above that figure.
Paid reviews and sponsored posts have been made available through the site as well as through SponsoredReviews.com where the site enjoys a 5 check-mark ranking (the top you can receive). The price for paid reviews is currently set at $100 per review.
Banner ad sales have been made exclusively through advertising their availability on the site and are currently priced at $60 per month.
The only advertising for the WordPress theme has been a $250 per month stripe ad on JohnChow.com. The current ad is set to run until April 14th at which point it will be up to the new owner to renew the ad. Advertising on other WordPress related site, or even Google AdWords could easily drive more sales of the premium themes and increase the monthly revenue even more.
I'll attach proof of traffic and income but if you'd like to see anything that I don't post, let me know and I'll try to accommodate.
Traffic Details:
The site received over 34k unique visitors in January and February combined (15k unique in Feb alone) and more than 80k page views (Google Analytics screenshot attached).
Traffic comes via organic searches on all major search engines and through links on other blogs as well as through StumbleUpon and Digg.com.
The site currently ranks #5 in Google for "make money blogging" and in the 30's for "make money online". The site also ranks on the first page of Google for "blogging lessons" and "lessons on blogging" and several other blogging related terms.
