Description:

The website has been launched at the beginning of the year and grew considerably. The website has received links from NewsWeek and CNN, high SERP and several inside pages with PR1-5. You need little effort to promote the articles, since the readers do it on their own.
The website has a custom design based on a 200$ Wordpress theme, with added features for reducing bounce rate and increasing number of page views. The blog has provided a steady income from PPC and CPM networks, as well as advertising contracts and featured posts, at around 300-600$/month. With the recent PR update, you can further monetize with text link ads on several inside pages with PR, different topics. I haven't got the chance to exploit the website's advertising potential to the maximum. It can make over 1000$/month easily with the proper advertising platforms.

    So why does a site with 500,000 UVs and an Alexa of 38k have no archived sites on archive.org? (WayBackMachine.org)

    eron19 - This price is based on text link sales (which I haven't done since the PR update just kicked in) and banners. I have also received an advertising offer from break.com which I haven't yet finalized ($2 CPM). I haven't had the chance to look for advertisers since I am also caught up in other projects. This is the ballpark figure of the earnings, if one were to properly take care of it.

    hoyles - I have no idea how archive.org works. Probably takes more than 6 months to build up an archive. It probably goes for older websites.

    just a few questions can you show links from BBC and CNN and a few of the top Google Search's also where is the dontent coming from are you writing it or are you paying someone one also I notice most traffic comes from social bookmarkers are you promoting your articles or news there our are the visitors of your blog can you show some of the top post that send traffic on these sites and also I notice you are getting alot of traffic from sublimedirectory an adult porn site my question is why and is that hurting your serps, basically I would like to know more about the traffic I want to know it is stable and decent and about updating the site how much work is involved ect... ect...

    Also how can you use content from Maxim? It seems like it may have a copy write on it. Do you have an agreement with them?

    How much time do you spend updating content?

    The bounce rate seems really high 82% with an average time spent 38 sec. Can you explain this?

    Do you have proof of income?

    The materials we use are "Creative Commons" or we have asked for the rights to publish them.
    Usually we spend an hour a day to look for content and publish it.
    Bounce rate differs, based on referring site. Social media referrals have this bounce rate almost everywhere, even higher.
    Proof of income - adsense and cpx earnings, some paypal invoices.

    @spyder0215 We don't have any agreeement. If someone objects to posting those pictures, we simply remove them. For most of them however, we ask for permission to publish before hand.

    @Newviewit the website is now earning around 20-30$ a day with a new ad system.

    1. would you lose a significant of the traffic and adverising income if the adult oriented content is removed from the site?

    2. do you have access to a person that can help add content to the site? At what price?

    3. do users curently have the ability to send in their own wacky stories? I assume that this would require a site redesign.

    4. why are you selling?

    5. has the site been search engine optimized?

    6. You said we spend an hour a day to look for content. How many people does this comprise?
