Up for sale is Our Business. Our store was recently launched on January 1, 2008 as a place for our growing customer base to get all the support they need for the sites they have purchased as well as a place for us to display all the sites we have for sale. The store itself is not the place we earn our revenue at this time, however we have had several sales from there since it's launch. Our sales mainly come from the Sitepoint marketplace from websites listed at auction. We also get a number of additional sales from people contacting us and wanting a similar site set up for them on their own domain.

Our store has over 275 websites listed in it for sale. For the sites listed in the "turnkey sites" category of our store the buyer will need to purchase reseller memberships to 2 websites at a cost of less than $400 per year. The sites listed in the "premium sites" category of our store were either created by us or reseller rights were purchased and modifications were made by us. By far our premium sites are our biggest sellers and make up 90% or more of all sales. THE BUYER WILL GET RIGHTS TO ALL THESE SITES AND WE WILL NEVER SELL THEM AGAIN.

We have only sold these sites on Sitepoint so the buyer will have an unlimited amount of untapped markets to promote these websites. Our area of expertise is in the building, installation, and customer support areas of the sites we sell. The new owner would need to be able to handle this or have access to someone that could. The right buyer for this site would be the one that knows how to promote the site and products to the rest of the internet, not just Sitepoint, to take the store, products and our branded name to the next level.

With our sites come 3 months of free hosting (the new owner can change this). We have been so busy supporting our customers, coming up with new sites, and getting new customers we have not had the time to start charging our customers that have run through their free hosting period. We are currently collecting $60 per month from only 10 hosting subscribers and there is approximately 87 other customers hosting with us that can be charged for their hosting. This can bring anywhere from $300 - $550 per month in hosting fees for the new owner to collect depending on what you charge. These sites are on our reseller account which is paid up until september of 2008. This reseller account will be included in the sale.

Also included is the site phpfakemailer.com and the contents of that site. We also have the script that site sells in our store but phpfakemailer.com is also a stand alone site for this product.

To further expand the brand name we are also including the following domain names:

We have generated just under $41,000 in sales in 9 months. As stated we have only sold our sites on Sitepoint, so the rest of the internet has been untapped. We are just 2 people that work full time jobs and run this business on the side so we are unable to devote all our time to the business. If we could we know we would be making over $10,000 per month.

This business is not a set-it-and-forget-it website. We completely install and set up every site we sell, provide 3 months of free hosting and unlimited support to our customers. The buyer of this business will need to be able to carry on all tasks associated with that, or have a team or people at their disposal to run day to day operations.

We have decided to put our business up for sale because we are wanting to start a new project that is on a larger scale than we have ever attempted before and that will require all of our attention and assets. We have wanted to start this project for quite some time and feel that the business we are selling here will enable us to pursue this project.

    We have decided to set a BIN of $30,000 for our Business. This is a steal for the buyer, but we are looking for a quick sale to start up a new project. $4,500 is the gross sales per month and we net about $3,750 per month on avaerage. Our BIN is only 8x's monthly revenue, act fast. Proof of revenue will be given to serious buyers.

    No, As stated we have done no advertising at all for the site. 90% of our sales come from setting up the sites we sell in our store on a domain and then listing them for auction on Sitepoint. There is huge room for growth selling our sites in the store by any advertising method you can think of.

    Hello .. if you simply copy and recreate sites with new domains don't the buyers complain about duplicate sites ? OR is there really a market for duplicate sites ? Many thanks.

    There is a huge market for the sites we sell, and we are showing 41,000 worth of sales in just 9 months from the sites we have sold on Sitepoint, so yes the market is there for this. We do get inquiries from people asking if we will be selling the sites again, after we let them know, the majority of them still buy.

    1. What are ALL the costs (variable and fixed) associated with running this site? (hosting client sites, advertising if any, ect.)

    2. how many hours/wk do you and/or your partner dedicate to this business? (between you and your partner?) How many hours does it take you or your partner to setup a new site for a client?

    3. will you be signing a Non-compete?

    4. What are the reasons for the sharp decline in traffic? This was asked by another user, but there wasn't a clear answer...

    5. Are there any legal issues facing your company (lawsuits, for example, using the parker brothers' monopoly figure in your logo, etc.)

    We have already posted our expenses in this listing. If you have more questions please PM us, and we will be glad to speak to you via phone.
    We probably spend 10 - 20 hrs per week, depending on what we have going that week
    We will not be competing and will sign that if you wish
    The decline is because it bought the services of someone on sitepoint to send traffic to our site. It was non productive traffic so we didnt continue with it. Most of our business is done on sitepoint and have made no effort to promote the site, other than what I just mentioned, so that can definitely be a way to bring in even more revenue. Sitepoint is a marketplace that has millions of dollars in transactions, and is a great place to sell your product.
    There are no legal issues what so ever. We are seller of the year on sitepoint, and run a straight forward business.
