Description:

This site is my "baby" but unfortunately I must sell.  I need money to pay for upcoming expenses.  And, I'm sure you're skeptical about why I'm selling the site.  No problem, I have nothing to hide.

Purpose of site:

•  Provides applications to many popular credit card offers

•  Provides information on credit cards such as rates, fees, description, etc.

•  Provides informative articles about credit cards.

•  Provides a credit card calculator.

•  Provides real consumer credit card reviews.

Reasons for selling:

•  Need money soon

•  The competition is tough and I don't have the money to compete (advertising/marketing) with the "big boys" on the market.

Traffic:

•  Around 160 uniques per day

•  Mostly organic traffic from Google

Revenue:

•  Around $2000 per month, all from credit card leads and applications.

•  No Google Adsense.  (Your option to add if you want)

•  Revenue from advertising space - more details in private.

Expenses:

•  No monthly expenses.  No Google Adwords.  Yearly expenses include listings in major directories such as Yahoo and Business.com.

First, the Bad News:

•  Revenue has dropped due to a drop in traffic.

•  Rankings have dropped because competition is tougher now than it was 12 months ago.

•  Lowest revenue month was last month which was around $2,000.

Now, the Good News:

•  Potential is limitless - highest revenue month was around $6,500 (last year).

•  SEO friendly

•  Thousands of quality backlinks

•  PR4 for the past 3 years

•  Hands-free site management; except when there are updates to credit cards

•  Easy-to-use admin section - add, edit, delete credit cards

•  Custom developed site - one of kind

•  Ranks well for many "credit card" related keyphrases.  (ie. credit card offers, credit card reviews, credit card comparisons, credit card ratings...etc.)

This pretty much sums it up.  This is my one and only website, so please make me a good offer.

    Hi Miguelmateos,

    Yes, I can send you proof. As I mentioned, last month was it's lowest revenue month at $2,000. Prior to that, the site was making a generous $3,000 to $7,000 per month in pure profit. I don't run Google Adwords or any other PPC programs. All revenue is generated from organic traffic, which makes this site so sweet!

    Hi netHead,

    They site typically only requires updates 2 to 3 times a month. The rest of the time, you are making money hands-free.

    I'm not sure what you mean by the "last price" on the site. Do you mean the reserve price?

    The buy it now is $68000? 34 times the monthly revenue? Isn't that a little high and especially since as you say the traffic and revenue have dropped recently.

    Yes, the bin is $68k. This sale is for the serious investor. I've shown you what the site is capable of - its had 2 months with revenues over $6,000. I've built lots of natural quality links for it. It has the backbone in place. Now, all the new owner has to do is strengthen it, and make it bigger and better.

    You have to think about the site as a whole; the name, the design, the originality, the potential. Also, the traffic it receives is purely organic from the search engines. I don't advertise, or spend thousands on PPC. You do know how expensive clicks for "credit" related keywords are right?

    Quick question:

    Your post says "Established Credit Card Comparison Site, since 2005"

    However the domain was registered 4-20-2006 and archive.org does not show a page until June 13, 2006.

    Am I missing something?

    The site primarily caters to the U.S. audience, however, you can definitely use it for Canadian offers as well. If you visit the site, there is a category for Canadian credit cards.

    Those updates need be done when your affiliate company sends you a notification, telling you that there has been some change(s) to credit card offer(s). It's usually a change in the card description (ie.bullet points). It's easy to update...pretty much copy and paste.

    A majority of the traffic flows in from Google. I've sent you a private message as well.

    I'm primarily using an affiliate company called icommissions.com. I've used and tested most of the top affiliate companies out there, and so far icommissions has the highest payout, upheld reliability, and provides responsive customer service. There are a couple of other affiliate companies I use for certain cards, such as credit.com and ncsreporting.

    To be honest with you, I'm not sure how much has been invested into it. I would estimate it to be over $5,000. Since the creation, my main focus has been to acquire free, organic traffic for the long-term. I've spent over one and half years, constantly building links and working on the SEO. The site has tons of great inbound links, including some from respected edu sites.

    The platform is PHP/MySql.
    Yes, there is an admin interface where you can log-in to make edits on any card, category, or issuer. From the admin, you can also add new articles and also edit the prime rate.
