I am selling this nice general web directory that I bought back in January.

It has been established for 1.5 years and has plenty of visitors, it currently gets around 5000 visitors and 16000 page views per month (stats attached).

It has made $80 in the time I have owned it.

Runs phpLD2 so PHP and MySQL hosting is required to host it.

Revenue Details:

Revenue has come from featured links, I have not promoted the site much so with a little work in the forums etc revenue could increase nicely.

Traffic Details:

Traffic comes from search engines or other free links.

    Is the domain name included with the website? Also how much hosting time is left with your current host?

    Yes, the site includes the domain.

    The site is currently hosted on my server, so the buyer will need to move it to their own hosting account after purchase.

    A few vital pages arn't working. Will they be fixed before selling? Are most of these hits from search engines rather than users?

    Ahh, they're working now. Did you change your template?

    I have one of these directories already(PHPLD 3.2) and just wanted to find out if, like my directory, a large portion of the traffic is from search engines referencing the site rather than actual absolute unique visitors?

    Thanks, glad there working for you, I didnt change anything.

    The majority of visitors are from directory lists and search engines, the number of visits caused by SE spiders crawling the site is minimal, certainly less than 5% of the total.

    There are no referral fees for the "we recommend" links, advertisers can just buy a link in that section for a monthly fee.

    Funguru, yes I can help the buyer move the site to their own hosting.
