Hello

I am selling my bidding/bid for position directory at: www.shoutlinks.com

I purchased the domain names on the 3rd of April and launched it soon after. Since then shout links has received $298 worth of bids. This averages out at a total of $248 of revenue per month.

The site has had a lot of money spent on it. It has bids at over 50 bidding directories including some high bids and it is included in some major directories such as zorg-links.

It is fully set up and includes a branding free phplb license ($50 value) and a completely custom and unique template ($150 value). It also comes with shoutlinks.com, .net and .info domains.

Included:

  • shoutlinks.com, shoutlinks.net, shoutlinks.info
  • phpLB branding free license ($50 value)
  • Unique custom template (see live, $150 value)
  • 8 custom wordpress themes with footer links to site (for linkbacks)

Basically you get the whole website and rights to everything including the template and wordpress themes.

The branding free license means you don't have to link back and costs $25 ontop of the $25 for the normal license ($50 total).

Site performs well and if promoted correctly could earn similar or much more. It is easy to promote by keeping active threads at webmaster forums and submitting to other bidding directories.

I need money for this to fund other projects and for some things at home.

If you BIN, I will move the site for you for free. If you do not BIN then I will move the site at a price of an extra $10.

Revenue Details:

Site has earned $298 since it has been up (just over 1 month), this averages out at $248 per month.

If you continue to promote it can easily make this or more.

Traffic Details:

So far this month has received an average of 118 visits per day according to webalizer.

Traffic mainly comes from Google, webmaster forums and other bidding directories.

    Added proof of bids/payments from inside the phpLB admin panel. Emails of bidders are kept private for the bidder's privacy.

    Not quite sure how these types of sites operate.. Does the user pay the amount bid when adding the listing? If not, how and when are they billed.

    Mulith, thanks for the questions.

    It is basically similar to a normal directory with categories. You can submit your site for the minimum bid of $3. However, the more the site owner bids, the higher they will get listed on their category page. Also the top 10 bidders are listed on the frontpage. So for example you can see the top 2 bidders on the frontpage at www.shoutlinks.com both paid $25

    They are billed through paypal automatically. Basically they submit their site, choose bid amount and are redirected to paypal. Once they pay they are redirected back and their bid is added.

    No sorry, it is www.phplinkbid.com

    It is similar to phpld but it is specifically for bidding directories. The normal license is $25, however I have a branding free license which costs an extra $25 ($50 total). Both licenses will be pushed to your phpLB account.

    I cannot see any site with a bid of $16. Does that mean you receive the money and add the site manually. Also could you please let me know whether you have any adwords or similar campaigns. Thanks

    The bids were separate. One was $13 for "EnglishFair Bidding Web Directory" and the other one was only $3 (the minimum bid).

    Sorry forgot, no I don't use adwords or any ppc/cpc campaigns. All I do to advertise is submit to other bidding directories and keep active threads on webmaster forums such as digitalpoint in their directories section.

    Right, the reserve price has now been met (it was $450, bidding is now at $500).

    BIN is currently still $850, may lower by $50 or $100 in a few days but looking for quick sale :)

    Again, even more proof of easy and sustainable profits.

    I have done absolutely no promotion for this for the last week and it just took another $12 bid, making the total in the last 3 days $25 in bids. Proof of the revenue :)

    The visits come mainly from webmaster forums, other directories and a few from search engines searching for bidding directory and shout links.

    Just got $11 more in revenue from a bid today. I have done no advertising for over a week so you can see how it still brings in money.
