Description:

This auction is for an established and running forum.  I purchased the site on sitepoint two months ago.  The site is all it was cracked up to be but I just don't have the time to properly run this site.  Also I want to buy a new road bike to train for a triathlon this summer.

Currently the site is still running a couple of ads for the previous owner that I just haven't had the time to take down.

The site has a licensed version of Vbulletin that will be transfered to you upon completion of the auction.

In addition I am willing to continue hosting this site for you for the next three month free of charge.  We can then work on a cost if you still desire hosting after that point.

Also I own www.PostonmyForum.com and would be willing to throw in a 300 post package to get posting traffic and to spur discussion on the forum. 
I hate that I have not had the time to properly promote this site and get it running to many other irons in the fire.

Revenue Details:

Site earns by direct sales for webmasters, it also earns via adsense sales.  I have not really put the effort in this area and it honestly would probably earn big bucks with the correct owner.

Traffic Details:

All traffic is via search engine hits.  I haven't done squat with it since purchasing and it gets the traffic by itself.

    Forum does include the vbulletin license.

    What specifically do you want to see on the traffic and visitors. I use awstats and can capture any screenshot you would like. Not good enough with it currently to put up a page with up to date stats.

    Why is this site being sold so often? It looks like the person you purchased it from had also recently purchased it before that. It looks like a really nice community so I'm a bit confused as to why you don't feel it's worth holding onto.

    In any event, I would be interested in knowing your BIN price, if you have one set.

    Jake to be honest I do not have the time to run the forum properly. I went the entire month of April visiting the site myself twice due to other endeavors. The previous owners had the same issue. If you are going to run a forum you have to be in and out and a member of the community, as I do that for others owning a forum doesn't work. If there is going to be a lack of input it will be on your own site not people that have paid you to place input.

    Plus looking at my portfolio of sites it is simply the one that needs to find a loving new home so that I can purchase a new road bike for triathlon training.

    No BIN as of yet. Kinda letting the market take care of what the site is worth. However if you have a valid offer please make it here and I will consider it or PM me and we can talk more if you wish.

    Also, any idea of active vs. inactive users? I did a random review of the member list available at the site, and saw that a majority of members haven't posted.

    If most are inactive, do you have e-mail addresses so interest can be revived via a targeted campaign?

    Direct sales are in the banner ads on the site. If you are a webmaster you can put your sales links or anyone elses if you choose. As I said on adsense we are at $54.26 so far since Feb. and this is the only site that I run adsense on.

    Also all of the e-mail addresses are in the database and there are a ton of members, most need a good marketing effort and maybe some e-mailing campaigns.
