Description:

Plenty of room to continue to grow and increase sales. AcmeAgent.com is a PHP listing script that will allow users to set up a script in their sites that will let them list and show properties for sale. This can easily be used for rental listings and other real estate uses. Features include:

  • Full admin to add properties with photos, and view stats
  • Front end will allow shoppers to view properties
  • Search and sort properties for sale
  • View a Google Map of property
  • Send in inquiries for a property via a form
  • front end is designed using CSS
  • Property pages are search engine indexable
  • Functions are PHP and mysql
  • Original script, built from scratch
  • View at www.acmeagent.com

The website gets about 5000 pageviews a month. We are currently selling the script on the site for $89 a month because it doesn't sell as many at that price and wanted it that way until we finished other projects (we developed and manage autowebengine.com). We sell about 3 a month at this price. When we sell it between $25 and $45 month, we sell about 10 a month.

The only ads we do are a posting in Hotscripts (not a premium or sponsored listing either). I know that if the listings are increased, it should do even better. If you do some google ads and upgrade the hotscripts listing you should do much better. We'll help transfer everything to the new owner and help things get started for them.

This auction includes full rights, we won't be selling a real estate script again as we are using our AWE backend to launch a new real estate marketing system for agents and not using this script anymore. We may use bits of the code here and their, but again, we won't be selling a real estate script like this again.

Please ask any questions you might have. I don't have screens of paypal payments as they are all mixed in with our other payments and would be a pain to black out lines that weren't acmeagent.com.

    I don't follow what you're saying here... seems contradicting:

    The text says you can connect to MLS... how does that work? I didn't see anything in the admin that gave me a hint.

    Also, the demo seems to only show search capabilities... where's the rest of the agent site?

    The license says it is copy protected but allows unlimited installations and modifications. Is it not encoded? How is it copy protected?

    How would you describe the programming style and techniques of the code itself?

    glued, the is a separate, stand-alone script. We developed an entirely new system, not a downloadable script, for real estate marketing, so the buyer will get full rights to this stand-alone acmeagent script.

    The MLS is a custom setup. If a user had rights to connect to an MLS database, we did custom work to help them, it is not automatically built in. We did a lot of custom work for users.

    It isn't a full agent website, it is a script that can be added to any site design. It is a listing management script, not a full website. It has a header and footer file and is CSS based for formatting to work into existing or new site designs.

    It is copy protected, but we do allow unlimited use to be used on as many sites as they like. We of course don't want users selling our script, which we state in the license, but they can build as many sites as they like for their clients. It is not encoded. Of course, the new owner is more than welcome to change the license agreement or add any encoding they like.

    The code itself uses PHP4 and is not object-oriented or anything like that. It is pretty basic PHP code, and very easy to work with if you know PHP, but again, it isn't class based or anything.
