Description:

Due to moving into offline businesses I am looking to sell my online interests.

This is certainly one of my best sites and has earned me a nice income over the last year.

It makes money every single day without fail!

Over £35,000 ($70,000) has been spent in programming & design alone.

http://tinyurl.com/5nlr39

Its been online since late 2006 but we did not start trading until early 2007. The site is fully custom designed to the highest quality. We get regular emails saying how great the site looks.

In just over 1 year it has generated over £200,000 ($400,000) in sales and paid out over £70,000 ($140,000) in cashback to members. The site generates £6,000-£7,500 ($14,000-$20,000) a month on average.

The site is highly regarded in the cashback industry and if you do a search on Google for it you will find some great feedback. We have even been featured on national UK TV as a great way to earn a small monthly income.

The site receives good traffic from natural search engine listings and referral postings. The site has a PR of 3 with many permanent links. Alexa rankings are also very good.

All offers on the site are provided by various affiliate networks which pay you commissions for every offer completed. As you can see both members & non members can shop but only members will receive cashback. We do however get many browsers that shop and this will earn you 100% commission as there will be no cashback to pay.

The site is for UK members only and uses email verification as well as sms text verification to confirm this (very secure). The signup process is very automated.

Once logged in members can view their offers history for the last 12 months and once they hit the min of 10,000 points (£10) they can then cashout using our virtual cash machine.

The site has a built in referral system which allows members to earn 20% commission on all offers their referrals complete. The 20% commission is added automatically to the referrer once their referrals points confirm after 60 days.

We use a unique csv system to upload members completed offers as pending and the system will automatically change these to completed after 60 days unless you reverse them. This stops chargebacks as most offers confirm with affiliate networks in 60 days. We also use callbacks (with selected networks) which allows offers to auto upload as pending within seconds.

The site has a fantastic admin area where you can view members, upload csv's, pay pending cashouts, send mass mails (to opted in members), view overall site stats, suspend members accounts, upload new partner offers, add discount vouchers, select winners for the monthly competition we run, etc.

The other running costs are a managed server with 1and1 at £300 ($600) a month.

We do no advertising as the referral system does all the advertising we need.

Lat years accounts (drawn up by accountant) are available to view at a meeting with a serious buyer who can prove they have the funds available.

Full legal contracts will be drawn up for the winning buyer through a solicitor as this is a genuine business.

Questions to the Seller

  1. I notice that your traffic is decreasing month on month..any particular reason. Also what is your gross.net profit for the year. Also what about money owed to customers post sale. Finally, how much work is involved in running the site eg..hours per week.

  2. Traffic goes up and down based on email campaigns we send out and also at different times of the year due to events like christmas, easter, mothers day, etc.

Net profit is over £100,000 ($200,000) I take a very good monthly salary from this.

There is currently £17,500 ($35,000) pending in members accounts. Some of this will sit there forever as some members earn £3 or £4 then give up and some will be cashed out once the member meets the min requirement.

This is a full time business and you should spend at least 5 hours a day but you can take a good full time salary from this.

  3. Not all of the £17,500 is confirmed earnings so some may also get reversed.

  4. Thnaks for the quick reply.

With regard to the running of the site, you say 5 hours a day. Is this for one person...and what i mean by this is can 1 person run this at this level or would you need staff.

  5. Well, I have run the site myself about 5 hours a day answering mails, adding offers & processing cashouts. I would just do a couple of hours at the weekend.

I have staff now mainly because I own so many online businesses but if this was your only site then it could be run by just one person.

  6. Hi,

Impressive figures! could you post some proof on income?

Also do you add you offers etc, via affilaite networks e.g. CJ, azoogle. or do you contact big brand name like marks and spencers in person?

  7. Although I do get contact directly from major names on a regualr basis I prefer to work directly through the big affiliate networks (CJ, TD, etc) as this keeps payments in order and accounting is much easier.

I will post some proof later today.

  9. Forgot to say the domain name cashinco.com is included in the sale as well for those of you who would want to open the site up worldwide then this would be a great asset.

  10. "This is a full time business and you should spend at least 5 hours a day but you can take a good full time salary from this."

Can you give us a typical day/time break down? What exactly do you spend the most time doing?

  11. I spend most of my time reading the emails from retailers about special offers, changes in commission rates, discount vouchers & new offers. I then need to update my offers based on this information. There are many special offers each day and also many new retailers coming onboard all the time.

Then you need to respond to members support mails. There aren't many as the site is so well designed and easy to use. Sometimes if their pc has blocked the tracking cookie they will mail you because they are waiting on points for a certain offer. You then need to chase this with the affiliate network concerned after collecting info from the member.

The last part each day is uploading the csv reports which I do early evening to allow for an cancalled sales that have been processed during that day. The csv upload for each affiliate network is then automated and points are added by the system.
I then run through the cancellation reports & reverse these points on the members account. This is all done from the admin area and very simple to do.

Could this be automated by using some kind of logic and allowing retailers to create/edit their own offers?

I imagine this could be handled with code also, yes?

Either the sterling or dollar amounts are wrong in this statement.

    £6,000-£7,500 would be $12,000-$15000

  14. Yes, I could be handled with code.

Yes, it should be the sterling amounts.

Some months its over £10,000 depending on if you sent out an email campaign to opted in members. I can sent out a mail and generate a few thousand in a day or two.

  15. Hi, can you see a problem running this site outside the UK? As I live in Australia.

Are the revenue figures you mention ($14,000-$20,000 per month)US dollars?

As I am fairly new to the IT industry, would this site be difficult to run for a newbie?

Would you consider the site to be 100% turnkey, without any major technical input needed?

Lastly, I would like to put in a bid but obviously need to confirm proof of income and the above answered first. Please let me know of your best contact details.
