The blog received an huge initial traffic boast from a paid press release on PRweb and two large mailings from two gaming sites that gave the blog a huge initial spike in traffic for May. The blog held a contest to give away a free xbox360, ps3 or wii and this gained a lot of exposure.

There is some traffic from Johncow.com and a permanent link that will remain on Johncow as long as gamerzreviewz is up and running.

    What is needed to maintain the site? I see it's a review site -- so how is content best generated? I am not a game expert.

    We have 5 solid writers that wrote for this site that we found from video game forums and they are more then willing to continue writing. You could arrange a partnership deal with one for content or pay them for content. The nice thing is there is an endless supply of content.

    Other then content, the only maintenance is checking if advertisers have submitted advertising requests. You would also want to have the writer respond to comment posts to create a sense of community with the blog.

    I am already a TK user and very happy with it at that. But, being a paying member already, item 3 would be of little use to me.
