Hello guys,

What we have here, is a complex website monitoring portal, designed to work in multilanguage mode, and it's designed to be bought by a company which will appreciate it's true value, and get it to higher grounds.

The portal was initially launched in Romania, and it had a huge feedback, and it was solely promoted by it's value. Right now we are monitoring closely to 4000 websites, and we usually have around 30 40 daily sign ups. All this done with 0 advertising.

The revenue the site generates is done via google ads on the english side, and some other advertising company on the romanian side.

The site structure is solid, and we phased out all the bugs, and we are available to offer 3 months of support and updates after the purchase. Also support for migration to a new location is offered.

Right now the project runs on 4 servers. It is VERY resource intensive. We have 3 front ends, 1 database server, and 1 mailserver. The project currently monitors over 6 million hits per day.

Why do we want to sell this project? We feel it's time for us to move on, and we have other several projects in work, and someone else could improve this project furthermore.

Time spent on this website should be no more than 30 minutes per day, activating the websites.

The site monitors traffic activity on the subscribers, and it's accuracy is almost the same as google analytics. We estimate not more than 2% 3 % errors in calculations.

Right now the languages supported are romanian and english, but you are free to translate and improve even more, and promote the project to other markets.

During the 3 months of updates, we will provide coding support for whatever extra features you may want.

The site runs on our own proprietary framework, custom created for our needs. All the website backend is in english, and easy to use, so you should have no problems using it

Revenue Details:

The revenue goes solely to the buyer discretion, we have had no rush to make the site a moneymaking cow, we were focused mostly on developing and improving the structure. now that we know this is a solid and proven platform, we leave the choice of revenue to the new owners, if any.

Traffic Details:

Most traffic comes from the subscribed websites, as they have the icon placed on their sites. Then the traffic comes from google, and webmasters checking their statistics.

    Very powerful site you have there. I love the live statistics. You say it's PR 3? Google toolbar and DNSCOOP are showing that it's PR 0. None the less, it's still a powerful system. Will be interesting to see how the sale goes.

    http://www.gtop.ro - pr 3. gtopstats.com - the english side goes with 0, as we launched it recently. we wanted to see the users feedback, and as it was a success, we decided to go international before selling.

    i need to add the fact, that the possible buyers should at any costs have a powerful network, and hardware. it is a VERY delicate project, and needs management attention. 100 % uptime is critical, for the statistics to be accurate, and provide a really good service to the subscribers. communication with requests, is important to be maintained. that's how we got all the positive feedbacks. lots of attention paid to the details.

    the database is already around 50 gb in size, and it's growing fast, so it's imperative that you have a powerful sql server. the actual one runs on RAID10 out of 4 x 15 000 RPM drives for the SQL, and RAID1 for the OS, 8 gig ram, and quad core xeons dual cpu.

    Front ends have 2 gig ram each, and quad core cpu's, and the os drives are WD Raptor - 10 000 RPM.

    I am not trying to scare anybody off, but without a solid platform, the project cannot be maintained.

    @lip9000 - the live data stats are updated each second, while the general statistics once every 10 minutes. as close as you can get to reality.

    The stats from the site itself will not help anyone at all. We want to see some awstats , google analytics , etc . Just my opinion : A site in its 500.000+ Alexa rank has nowhere near 150.000 uniques a month. Good luck with the sale anyway

    Why would we use like .. google analytics for our analytics project? Simply redundant. The stats are real, and the proof is there. We're not using awstats as we trust our statistics software, and we tested it versus various tracking systems. It will also add overhead. something which we are not likely to do.

    As a quick note, our statistics icon gets a little over 6 million 700 impressions per day. Average is 6 million 500.

    But people are more likely to trust google analytics then you stats program!

    Your not talking about a few hundred bucks!

    in the event of an acquisition, the owner can verify the stats via any stats counter available. in the event of an acquisition, the owner would have full access to the data, and everything, so it would not be any question of trust or no trust. just to satisfy the public opinion, there is no real reason to add overhead to our systems, when our target is to improve and optimize.
