I'm offering my baby up for sale.

This is a NASCAR community and forum I created approx 2.5-3 years ago.

It has grown slow and steady, and has become well known in the industry.

We have a great group of avid passionate members who come and post every day, as well as passionate moderators who treat the site as their own.

Through my hard work, and top SEO knowledge, I have been able to do what most would feel is impossbile.  Ranked in the top results of google for the keyword "NASCAR" this is against major news and sports publications. Alone that ranking is worth big money, and will eventually seriously grow the site, was just obtained last month

Also top Ranked for "nascar forum" and nascar forums

Currently Has approx 4k members, and almost 50k posts.

35k + pages indexed in google.

I have always just had adwords on the site, and just recently started actually selling advertising spots, which we have sold one skyscraper position.

    Hi Namefarm,

    First - Nice Site.
    Second - AdSense TOS prohibits showing CTR and other information, might want to black that out.
    Third - Why are you selling?
    Fourth - Please post or PM complete proof of revenue, and more in depth stats - referrers, time on site, etc if you have them. Also if you have GA running, that would be great.
    Fifth - There are some *ahem* interesting links between this site and other sites will these links remain, do they cost anything, how long have they been around etc? I understand completely if you want to answer via PM. Big G has crawlers everywhere these days.
    Sixth - Any issues from NASCAR/ trademark issues etc?

    Yeah I wasn't sure about the adsense screens, i'll fix that asap, appreciate it
    Selling because I have other projects of mine which require capital, plain and simple. I love the site, and HATE to see it go because I know it will double in size in no time, but the other projects are just more important to me.
    I will try to get more detailed stats posted for ya

    Any and all links are perm, except for the link exchange discount I gave to our advertiser.

    No trademark issues etc, we went down that road in the begining with them, and all that was required on our part was the disclaimer at the bottom.

    Can you elaborate further?

    Also, how much time does it take to maintain? What if I'm not into NASCAR?

    It's that simple, all they required was a non affiliation disclaimer.

    You don't have to be into NASCAR, the forum pretty much runs itself, the moderators do an amazing job.

    Only thing you have to do once in awhile is upgrade forum software, or answer email related to advertising inquiries.

    You can send our newsletters to the members to boost retention and visits to the site etc. But really not much involved at all time wise.

    I'm assuming by AdWords you mean AdSense?

    Can you explain the AdSales? I'm assuming this is not a steady source of income and makes up 70% of your revenue.

    A few questions.

    1. How many new members do you get daily?
    2. Posts daily?

    Yeah sorry adsense

    and adsales is direct sales to a advertising customer, currently at $500/month have not offered this for very long about 2 months, and already have a customer at that rate.

    Hard to say member some days we get 3-4 members other days 15-25.... just random

    posts also vary tremenously by day, by race week, by news etc etc
