What is it?
Flasherize ChatRoom is a powerful, lightweight Web chat room application. The software is designed for any type of server platform and runs very well on shared servers. The front end utilizes Flash Remoting, translating the largest message into the smallest packet of data.

I bought this website when it was PR4 and made $300/month. I redesigned it, made some SEO work (#7 in google on "flash chat room"), added an administration section to control the clients, changed pricing, added chat skins and some more changes. As you see, I invested time and money and it became a great website.
Now it's making a steady ~$800/month from sales alone - without selling text links or using adsense at all!

This script is fully integratable with vBulletin and Invision Power Board forums. There is only really one other script that offers this on the market and it is a resource hog, so Flasherize has been well received. This site runs itself, but you will need some experience with installing scripts if you continue the install service now offered (for $39 per installation). It will also help to have some familiarity with PHP, MySQL and vBulletin/IPB forum software.

Why am I selling?
The reason I'm selling it is because I'm working on a few other projects that takes my full attention and although it can stay the way it is and sell, I think this website deserves constant caring and improvements (I get many compliments and features suggestions from my clients).

    As I see it, only may havs produced over 800$ in sales, april and june were in 400-500 range.
    Did you do any intensive advertising in may?
    How much do you spend on advertising per month and where do you advertise?

    April & June was more or less the same as May, the screenshots show only part of those months. No didn't do anything special advertising.
    Advertising: about $60/m PPC (which is not optimized and I doesn't affect sales much so it can be reduced or optimized to your choice).

    can you please list exact profit monthly for the last 6 months? Not sure where I can find it on your screenshots
    Also please list amounts you have spend on ads/ppc monthly for the last 6 months

    March and below was partly still at the old design & before changes so it's not relevant.

    I get requests for custom work from time to time so if you have time you can make more money out of it.

    As I already said about advertising: about $60/m PPC (which is not optimized and I doesn't affect sales much so it can be reduced or optimized to your choice).

    some days are blocked, naturally because it's not relevant for this sale. I will prepare the recent stats shortly.

    Here is a related question I answered in private:
    How much development have you done to the software? What development tools are required to develop the flash front end? Did you do the work personally?
    Answer:
    For the website, I had it redesigned by a designer, which I think this alone upgraded sales.
    The HTML (website) and PHP (admin panel) coding I did myself.
    I also wrote installation guides and FAQs and SEOed it.
    The old licensing method (PHPAudit) required the customers to have ionCube installed on their server. I eliminated that by hard coding the licensing into the Flash (a Flash programmer) - on first load it checks against my server if the domain is indeed valid. The customer can login to his account and change the domain if he wants. This also upgraded sales since the system requirements are simple now.
    I also add chat skins.

    1. In your opinion, how much time per week (or day) does this site require to keep making the revenue that it makes?
    2. Will you give help to the new owner in the time period surrounding the transfer of the website?
    3. Can you give the new owner the contact info of someone we can hire to make updates/changes to the actual flash software?
