    Hi minimumrage, in regards to your question about how much time is spent running the sites:

    The site Alienvideo.net gains a consistent amount of it's web traffic from the search terms "alien video", "real alien video", "alien autopsy video", "are aliens real", "real aliens", and "real alien pictures".

    These are strong terms that ensure your web traffic will remain even with very little maintenance on the site.

    In particular, having #1 Google result for the term "alien video" is a big advantage. Here's an example why:

    Hi minimumrage, to answer your question I've gone back and reviewed the last 18 months of site updates. Here is a summary:

    In July there have been no new pages added.

    In June, 2 new pages were added. Time involved was an hour, at the most.

    And here is a tip for an unlimited source of new content for Alien VIdeo. Goto YouTube or Google Video, search for "UFO". Find the interesting videos, copy the embed link and add them to their own new page, along with perhaps one or two paragraphs of your own commentary. Done, brand new fresh content for your site.

    In regards to UFOSightings, the time to update the site is obviously even less because of it's automated nature.

    Hello lienster, this ad placement is compliant with Google's rules. Google allows for a maximum of three standard ad units, two Adsense for Search boxes, and three Adsense link units on the same page. This placement is complying with the rules.

    The benefit of having these ads near the top of the page "above the fold" is that this is where you're going to have the best CTR. A lot of effort has gone into testing & optimizing ad placement on this site, and the advantage of making a bid to buy this is that you can be confident the site is already optimized to make you the most money.

    There is no problem with the .ca and there is no issue taking ownership if you are non Canadian.

    SEO friendly 301 redirects are the key to preventing loss of backlinks, your traffic, or search visitors. Setting up a 301 redirect for all pages of a site allows will automatically forward site visitors and seo bots to the new domain. 301 redirects are the recommended by Google as the best way to perform a transfer from one domain to another. I am knowledgeable with 301 redirects and .htaccess so I will set this up for you so that every existing UFOSightings.ca has a 301 redirect to UFOSightingsReport.com

    Using this method ensures your Search Engine ranking and even PageRank is transferred to the new domain. However, for domain redirections such as this it is generally expected that for a short period of time there may be an impact on your SEO ranking. After this short delay, your site with it's new domain will be indexed again as if nothing happened.

The .ca is not a significant factor since, as I have outlined in the project, we will perform a 301 Redirect for all pages so that all traffic and existing PageRank & search results are forwarded to UFOSightingReport.com, thus in a short time the .ca will become irrelevant.

    Hi rich_uk, in regards to the #7 result I posted, it was not a typo but I think in skimming the results I simply skipped the pictures and videos as results, but you are right this term is technically a #13. Regardless, "alien video" is your best term and you will never drop in rankings. And given the fact that every time a new alleged tape or CG alien video comes out this term gets hot - this is an incredibly valuable search result to have long term.

    To answer your two questions
    1) Alienvideo.net is all 100% clean coded HTML & CSS. Only dynamic functionality is some php includes. However, I did make a sort of "clone" of this code and used it on a separate site that is powered by a CMS (Drupal). Check it out: http://sharkvideo.net

    The original intention was to customize this for AlienVideo.net as well, however I found that even after $1500 worth of development & Drupal customizations that it wasn't quite as flexible as I wanted so the site still uses plain and simple HTML. With a very clean directory structure, and using PHP includes, it's very easy to maintain.

    UFOSightings.ca does use Drupal. Widely recognized as the most flexible CMS available, Drupal is supported by a passionate Open Source community of thousands of developers who continuously work to enhance it. This means you'll never be stuck without support, even if I am not available.

    2) The "Alien Alert" and "UFO Sighting Report" subscribers have never been offered a product. There is a 3 series autoresponder setup for the Alien Alerts which share some neat info and generate positive responses and occasionally I have sent broadcasts to the list with a new "breaking Alien Alert". So they are receptive and a good relationship is established. The UFO Sighting Report subscribers however I haven't sent any reports so they are all expecting a report sometime. My plan has been to send a couple of free reports, then begin charging a small subscription fee for the report each month.     Hi gtork, in regards to the original BIN, within moments of first posting this auction there were multiple BIN offers. So I made the decision to remove the BIN altogether to make it fair for all interested parties involved. You'll notice I made an announcement about this in my first comment.

    In regards to the guarantee, Escrow.com allows for a maximum of 10 days, so no we cannot run Escrow for 30 days.     The auction time has been extended by 1 day to finalize negotiations.
