This auction is for BestSkincareProducts.info.  It includes the keyword rich domain name, the blog and all of its content.

About the Site

The site’s objective is to provide visitors with reviews, news, product comparisons and links to coupons for the best skincare products available online.

The site runs on a self-hosted Wordpress blog with a magazine style theme.

About the Sales

I have concentrated my efforts on only two of the products available on the site, as evident by the sales screenshot.  However, there is tremendous opportunity to increase monthly sales by promoting more of the products linked on the site.

I do get the occasional sale from some of the other affiliate products, but I have not included those numbers as I have not focused on those products.  Their sales are inconsistent.

All of my traffic is organic from search engines and referrals from EzineArticles.com.  I do not use any PPC advertising to generate traffic however if you are proficient in this area then the opportunity is astronomical.

Site Valuation

I have set the BIN based on 18 months earnings at this level.  If this site is still earning $1200 a month even 6 months from now, then you have wasted an opportunity.  Payment must be made through Escrow.com; I will pay the fees.

Reason For Selling:

I recently quit my full time job to pursue affiliate marking full-time.  As this site is my newest I would prefer to turn its monthly earnings into a lump sum right now instead of nurturing it for the long term. 

Next Steps

The new owner should focus on link-building.  There is still room for many of for the product specific keywords to rise in the SERPS.  Additionally I have found that ezinearticles.com referrals have been converting well.  Further submissions to them highlighting additional products will certainly prove to be lucrative.

    According to your google analytics screenshot, your "Visits" for July were 989. The "Visits" metric is the session start count.
    Can you click on "Visitors" in the left menu, then click the "Overview" sub menu item, that'll show the Unique Visitor count.
    Can you take a screenshot of that screen?

    Great look and feel.

    Highly impressive earnings per visitor ($1+ per visitor for an affiliate site for non-list traffic....wow).

    Your claimed numbers are very high, and I'd like to see some more data to back it up.

    Can you give us a few examples of keywords that your site ranks for? Obviously, you don't need to reveal your whole list, but a few examples so we can see that the site attracts buyers such that you can earn over $1 per visitor.

    Thank you for the comments (and the compliment!)

    I have uploaded screenshots of two keywords and their search engine breakdown. I have also uploaded stats regarding ezinearticle referral traffic and the click through on my articles there.

    I do not want anyone to be misled by my sales numbers as I have had some PM's regarding sales history. The site made around $860 in June and was earning $300 before that. The reason for the increase is the attention I have been giving it. I continued to build backlinks and I added the Meladerm product in addition to the stretch mark cream. I sincerely believe the site has the potential to make much more if I keep doing what I have been doing. If the site doesn't sell then I would continue to work it and I truly believe it could make $2500 / month by Christmas. At that point I probably wouldn't sell it, but given my present situation I would rather trade the future earnings potential for the lump sum right now.

    The buyer who would be most successful at realizing on this potential would be one who could add more product specific backlinks. I know there are webmasters who have a better knack for that than I do.

    I received this question via PM so I will share my reply to it in case anyone else is wondering the same thing:

    "Isn't a price based on 12 to 18 months of future earnings a little high when you don't even have 6 months track record?"

    I can understand why you feel that way. I am looking at it from the perspective of someone who has seen consistent sales that have steadily increased. What blows me away is that the sales have mostly come from just two popular skin care products. There are countless other products that I can feature and promote on this blog by the same methods and I am confident I will achieve similar results. I have similar blogs in different, non-competing niches that are achieving sales by the same methods I have described here.

    To be completely honest, my weakness is backlink building. I don't like to send out unsolicited email asking for a link exchange and I am too paranoid of Google to engage in any other kind of link building scheme. So my links are coming from dofollow blog comments and article marketing. If you or someone else had any access to sites where a relevant keyword anchored backlink could be placed I am certain the product specific pages could quickly rise in the SERPs.

    I have set the price where it is, because that is what I value the future earning potential of this blog to be. Anything much less and I would be better off keeping it and continuing to build on its foundation myself.
