Background:

DesiPortal was registered by myself several years ago.  I first started it out as a South Asian (India/Pakistani) media search engine, however about eight months ago I purchased Clip Share pro and turned it into a Bollywood / South Asian media video sharing site.

Whats on the site currently?:

As of 8/27/08 DesiPortal.com has a total of 83 videos, 319 members, and approx 25,000 video views.  There is a mixture of Bollywood video clips, news, information and more.  I had a programmer install the flash Agriya player along with a plugin that made the URL’s SEO Friendly.  The player is also brandable so you can put your own image on all of the videos. 

For 2008 the site averaged YTD 1700 uniques per month and approx 25,000 pageviews.  Please note that the statistics for August are until August 26th.

This sale includes: The domain name "desiportal.com", the clipshare pro license, all plugins, and the server which I paid an upfront fee of $400 to get.

Promotion/Marketing/Traffic/Monetization:

I have not done any marketing or promotion of any kind to the site.  All the visits to the site are organic.  The site can definitely pick up a lot more visitors if someone promotes more while uploading some more videos to help jump start it.  The domain name value itself is very good in that you can use it for almost anything related to India/Pakistan.  I have also attached all traffic stats to this posting.  As far as monetization I have not done any kind of monetization at all, so even with the visits its getting now with proper monetization the site would definitely pay for all of the hosting fee at the least.

Server:

I have the site on a dedicated server through LayeredTech, and if you like it can be transferred to your name (it is included in the sale if you want it).  I would highly suggest keeping the same server since I paid $400 up front for the server to get the monthly lifetime price down to $95/month.  Here are the server specs:
