I listed this blog for sale here once already just a few weeks ago and the winner was picked via PM... He backed out and left me holding a site I no longer have the time to write for. So here we are, back up at SitePoint trying this circus all over again. :-)

Why am I selling?

I don't want to I promise.... especially after I just yesterday got my shiny new custom theme finished. It's based on the Flash News theme from Woo Themes. (That's worth $99.00 alone). Point is I've got way to much in it to just let it die, so I want to pass the torch to capable hands. I've got a full-time job, I'm getting married, and I've got little to no time left at the end of the day for my family much less my blog.

Better than a Niche Blog?

I think so. I spent months working on this puppy so I better think so! Unlike niche specific blogs you run across here, The Piss Biscuit, was built as a keeper over the last few months. Not a quick flip and not something built in days just to sell for a quick buck.

The Piss Biscuit is great because you never have to stick to a niche, and or buy content. If you're thinking it... write it! People come to read thoughts, chat, and learn about the latest on the web from a source they trust. You can't lose!

Branding...

This blog has such a kick ass name it's not even funny. THe number one attention getter is that silly name... but it works!

Revenue Details:

The site is currently monetized with 4 125 X 125 banners, 1 468X60 banner, and 1 300X250 banner.

I do make money on affiliate links when used, but it's not something I've really pushed for. I really used the ad spaces for friends and promotions I was pushing.

Having available space on such a great "launching" blog is worth more than $10.00 a month. To me, having a blog like this is an awesome way to "announce" your latest online ventures in other more niche specific markets.

Traffic Details:

The Piss Biscuit has some great numbers. As I've mentioned already, this is a great place to launch something new as the stats are on the rise!

    @dylan: Thanks for the compliment! Go ahead and mull it over, but it's pretty darn flexible if you'd like to create a more focused niche!

    @third: The BIN is much lower than it was before, just because I need to sell it and free up my time. However, I will not be GIVING it away for I fully know this baby's potential. The name is great. The brand is great. The content is great. The readership is great... what more could one ask for. Did I mention that you won't find a site design like it?     that was the problem on the last auction, just too unreasonable based on only 'potential'. anyway it's nice, ill wait until you post a bin and consider then. Good luck this time with the auction.

    @ All: If you're not up to date with current events then this might be useful. I'm located in New Orleans and we're facing another pretty nasty hurricane. That means I do not have the time, nor will I have the ability to manage this auction as I had hoped. I've set the BIN at 750.00 but if you come in close, put the money up quickly, and allow me to move on with more pressing matters in life right now, I'd be open to letting it go.
