Zoomshop.com is set to launch at the end of September. We are launching with about 350,000 to 1 million cars in inventory through service partners and will be adding another 1 million cars or so in the following month or two. We are launching the site along with a mobile search site as well.
Using our API, we are offering site owners the opportunity to purchase a one-time script license that will allow you to publish your own search site using our API and feeding in our full inventory of vehicles. You can develop as many sites as you like using your unique ID. We will supply you with a zoomshop.com site clone connected to our api. Create sites based on zipcode radius, vehicle makes, etc. We will not limit the # of sites you create, but the sites must only publish the vehicle for sale posted by dealers and third party data providers and the sites cannot show inappropriate content such as porn or other "adult" material.
With our content, you can litterally have millions of pages for ad content, you just need to promote your sites. We don't want any share of your ad revenue, we just want to build an incredibly large automotive search network with partners like yourself. If you really got into it, you could even go out and get your own dealer clients onto the network and make money that way.
Requirements
- The sites cannot contain adult material, it must be kid friendly in terms of any content on the sites - we cannot have sellers finding your site seeing their vehicles sitting beside porn or other content like it.
- You need to have PHP5 running in order for the script to pull in and show the full inventory.
- The sites must show the zoomshop.com network logo on the site so sellers know why their vehicles are showing on your site.
- You must inform us of the domain of each site you create.
- The clone zoomshop.com site must not have the zoomshop.com logo (just the network logo) or color scheme.
What you can do
- You can create as many sites as you like. Put up local search sites, sites for just certain makes like Toyotas, etc.
- Edit the CSS to change the look if you want, the full site, including search is fully CSS. Just remember, the feedback forms cannot be edited or changed in any way.
- Place ad content like adwords, cj.com, etc on your pages, you could have millions of them.
- You will have your own account with us that will allow you to even go out and sell to dealers getting them to promote their cars on the zoomshop.com network, including the mobile version. If the vehicles are already online through a data provider, your vehicles will show before theirs.
Why are we pushing this before launch?
We are set to launch in about a month. When we launch, we want to be able to launch with as big a network of sites as we can. So if we get the site files to you now, you will have time to get your site ready as well. We have about 360,000 vehicles in inventory at this point, so you will have plenty of content to play with to get ready.

Script fee
$199 one-time script fee for the zoomshop.com clone to create as many sites as you like. Why charge a fee? We have found that giving away things gets everyone interested and signing up but only a fraction plan on developing sites. So having a fee helps us support you in getting setup, but also helps us weed out those that don't actually plan on doing anything.

I would be very interested in this and I run many automotive sites, none that big. 2 million cars is impressive.
I have 2 problems, I can't run PHP but I can run perl. I would assume I could just access your program via an http request and manage my own data or do I need the PHP program to do that?
My second issue is that when I trie the demo site the response time was nearly 60 seconds on requests. As well, the search did not give any results no matter what I searched for.
is this an indication of response times? Or is it just the server the demo site is on?
Do you know why the search does not give any results?
