Description:
I recently offloaded some of my website's to make up more free time as my wife is at a late stage of her pregnancy soon to be my second daughter. :)
Myself and a friend decided to make a football streaming website. I coded a unique CMS, designed the template etc, i gather the information (links) and he helps with that too.
So here we was going along, giving information and links to streams (off line streams) and all of a sudden people just started signing up left right and centre) before we knew it the revenue kept rolling in.
We know some contacts who stream English Premierleague game's & also UEFA cap game's and they gave us the thumbs up to provide the odd free stream on the website's main page. So we did that for a couple of night's and the traffic went from 70 unique hits a day, right the way up to 700 unique visitors per day.
As traffic increased we converted more sales, i then decided to play around with the design of the website and change the way the service/product was presented to potential customers, and that again increased conversion rate's.
I spend around 1 hour a night to make the income it's earning at the moment.
My partner said that he would not be able to run the website without me as i provide support for the CMS and have knowledge with media. So we both agreed that we shall list the website for sale, and split the amount it sells for down the middle (50/50)
We have spent $7.50 on marketting, but really it was for SE purposes, i paid for a 2 day link on a very large website with a lot of pages indexed on google and other search engines. The website is listed on SE'S.
Breakdown of how the unique system i coded works
Front-end
A user visits the website and decided he/she wants to subscribe, they click the link and are directed to the subscription page, they then fill out there information, name, email and so on..
When a user has completed this step they are then directed to the payment page (NO paypal gateway needed, i coded a way around it)
They pay using paypal and when the payment is complete they then recieve an email with there auto-generated username and password, and also with the link to login to the streams website.
Not only will the user get an email, you (admin) will also get a paypal notification and also an email with the users information.
On the day of the football matches the user log's in to the user area with there username and password, they will then see the games for example; Hull City v Middlesborough etc..
They click on that link and then it opens up a list of every link for that game( they can use sopcast, ppu, or windows media player streams).
All links are off-site, so there is no violation at all. We research the information and streams avaliable for each match on a match day and provide it to the user's. (The buyer will recieve every little bit of information, and i can help an hour or two on a weekend as it gets very busy).. on wednesday night we had over 500 users online.
When there is a decent media player stream we will put it on the frontpage for people to watch (We have permission off the person/people that stream it).
Back end admin
You login to the admin backend and its very professional and easy to use, inside the admin backend you can view all the subscribed user's you can see who has payed and who has not, it shows active and inactive user's, you can change the site's general configuration, change the paypal details, admin emails, the price you want to sell the service for (when you change the price it will automatically update it live on the front/user-end.
The admin section also allows you to edit users information, suspend there account, delete the account, and also another fantastic feature is that you can send a mass email to all the active users at once for promotion's are general information, you can also send a single email to a user you may wish to select.
The buyer gets (FULL-EXCLUSIVE-MASTER) rights to the script and all content.
No other website has this script as i coded it myself, and nor will any other website ever use it.
Revenue break down
At first the price per user signup was £9.95, we made in total 19 signups making: £189.05 (A little less when you take off paypal charges)
We recently changed the price to £5.99 (promotion) and we have already made 11 sales with a total of just around £64.00 (with charges taking off)
Bringing a total intake of around $370.00 (or) £245.00
Traffic
We posted links on forums for free etc, posted on the bbc sports website message boards around 3 days ago. A lot of users return every night to watch the football, totally free traffic and hundreds of people have bookmarked us.
The traffic is hear to stay.
Conclusion
I have a BIN in the back of my head, but i will see how bidding goes for now.
Like all sales i make whether it be here digitalpoint or dnforum, i will always provide support for the buyer, i will help in anyway possible, and i will always provide you with the correct information as quick as i possibly can.
If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask.
One more thing, what could it make if you did input some money to promote;).
Ill let you guys work that out.
Revenue Details:
I put $1000 as monthly revenue because i have made such a large amount in a short period of time. And there is no doubt it will continue.

Hi,
So I take it from what you've said you have to find the streams on each match day - this is not automated?
If so is there a certain source you use and is it freely available? I know somewhere to find streams for games but lots of them aren't good quality or don't work - how can you be sure the streams you provide work correctly?
Finally, if you'd like to PM me the BIN that would be good!
Thanks!
