    There are some significant differences between phpLinkBid and a Sitepoint style auction. For a Marketplace, this probably isn't the script you need.

    Regarding Joomla, I don't have any experience with the script but if it can support a wrapper-style component for 3rd party PHP scripts it can probably be done.
