GRAPHIC WEB DESIGNER
A boutique web design firm is looking for a skilled graphic web designer to produce mock-ups in Photoshop. This designer should have good experience in web 2.0 styles and a working knowledge of general web technology. This designer should also be capable of following requirements and sticking to time-lines. Requirements will be in the form of example sites to mimic design elements, as well as written descriptions. This designer will be asked to modify all requirements to fit the look and feel of a client logo or client pictures.
In addition to web design, there may be instances where clients require logo design / redesign. In this case, this designer must have a substantial artistic background and be able to produce original logo designs based off of client details.
The design work effort is estimated at about 4-8 hours per mock-up. The mock-up consists of two .psd pages (a home page template and a generic page template). These mock-ups are heavily inspired by example sites. Also part of consideration is the company logo, descriptive requirements, and nature of client business.
COMPENSATION
Compensation is dependent upon sales. Our initial estimates are 10 sales per month. Expected growth to 20 sales per month at the 8 month marker with exponential growth thereafter. Payment is $150 per completed mock-up. At 10 sales per month, this job is very part time and gross’s $1,500 per month. At 30 sales per month, this job is full-time and gross’s $4,500 per month. These numbers are based on the average sale amount.
At this point, our company does not hire individuals as employees. For tax purposes, we will set you up with a personal LLC and cover filing fees. We will also recommend a CPA to ensure you receive all possible tax deductions.
PRE-REQUISITES
We are looking for someone who possesses the following:
0-100 years of professional experience (no this is not a miss-type), professional attitude, enjoys having fun, located on Earth, SELF-MOTIVATED, ORGANIZED (TYPE-A), ENTREPRENUERIAL.
All interested parties will need to provide a resume and portfolio of past work along with 1-3 references.
Our work atmosphere is relaxed, easy going, fun loving, and enjoyable but still focuses on professionalism.
