Looking to hire a highly experienced web developer with below minimum requirement:

  • Highly experienced in HTML / CSS / XHTML
  • Expert LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) developer
  • AJAX Expert
  • Expert in creating dynamic, database-driven websites
  • Must be Fluent in English
  • Must be available during daytime hours of Eastern Asia time zones (GMT+8) via AIM/MSN and Skype

The website involved is a custom-built community-based discussion forum. The basic prototype has already been built, and we are looking for a talented web developer to further enhance the web interface and build additional functionalities.

Precisely, the assignment will be an ongoing project with multiple stages:

- First stage: Enhance the web interface for a more professional appearance that can be viewed properly in all browsers and browser window sizes.

- Second stage: Various distinct functionalities will need to be added as visitor traffic increases, including, but not limited to:

  • Custom “Search” feature by various search fields
  • Various display and sorting options for the discussion forum.
  • Incorporate algorithms, which determine the ranking of the postings in the discussion forum.
  • At a later stage, the content on front page of discussion forum will need to change dynamically depending on who the user is and user’s preferences.
  • Additional functionality will need to be added to Administrator Site to allow for easy updating of information.
