Description:

We are looking for an experienced Java developer to join our small team. We are a small business but focused on delivering world class web technologies.

You must have an appropriate tertiary qualification and a minimum 5 years Java development experience.

 

Solid understanding of OO design, development principles and design patterns

Knowledge of current software development methodologies (e.g. Agile) and unit testing practices

Excellent Problem Solving Skills and a Creative thinker

 

Solid JAVA/J2EE development experience working with high volume solutions

Production support and deployment (SVN, Maven)

Ensure the project is properly documented

 

A proven production background in;

Struts and Spring

Hibernate

JSP

XML (including XSLT)

 

MySQL Development and Clustering production expertise

Experience with Linux operating system

 

Additionally, experience with IRC, Flash Server, SOAP web services, Web frameworks and AJAX-based architecture technologies are a plus.
