Description:
I am the owner of a new internet-related online magazine called Spider Daily (SD). SD's focus is on internet-related technology with an emphasis on planning, designing and marketing websites. How I wish for the website to stand out however is by having debates. Let's say an author writes an article about domain SEO and another author has a different perspective. Those two articles would be grouped as a debate with comments serving as "agrees" and "disagrees".
The website has already been launched with a couple of articles scraped off Google but I do not want to do this anymore. I am looking for writers who have experience in their topic wether it be HTML, PHP, AJAX, graphic design, planning, marketing - you get the idea. Think something between Sitepoint and Smashing Magazine.
How will you be paid?
I'm going to leave that to you. Here is my idea. I can give you a flat-rate fee of your choosing - you tell me how much you think you're article is worth. Or, I can give you a percentage of ad revenue (70%) based off a Google AdSense channel created specifically for your web page (at this time I am only going to display ads to search-engine referrers). To show honesty I will create daily PDF reports directly from Google for both Analytics and AdSense to reflect your traffic. You will be paid on a monthly basis if you choose the latter option.
In addition, you will also be credited with the article with a link back to your website. You will be registered at SD as a Contributor as well for (hopefully) future contributions.
The main requirement I have will be that the article cannot be posted elsewhere. We will thoroughly research every article submitted to avoid copyright infringement issues.
SD has a pretty small budget at this time so we would like to encourage you to choose the ad revenue percentage (after all, we will be advertising ourselves to help bring in traffic). We also will be willing to pay 80% ad revenues to you if you link back to us from your website - we can discuss that later.
If you are interested or have any questions, please write us.

Give us your ideas and what you would like in return and we will go from there. Remember this is a new website. But, with your help, it's the start of something special.
BTW, we are wrapping up a new custom theme to install on the website hopefully tonight or tomorrow.
