Start-Up Needs Rockstar Lead Web Developer / CTO

Early-stage New York based start-up seeks a full-time lead web developer to pick up where our contractors left off.

Description:

We are a small company with big goals, and the right candidate will have an extraordinary opportunity to become part of the leadership team for a very promising venture.
We need someone with top-notch programming skills, and also the ability to participate in business development and future hiring decisions. The initial contract will last two months, at which point we hope the successful candidate will have grown into the role of CTO and will be given a long-term contract.
To get this job, you’ll need significant, demonstrated experience with Java, Flash, Drupal, web video hosting/distribution, e-commerce, and third-party APIs. Prior experience with a web start-up is a significant plus.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. Benefits will be offered at the successful completion of the initial two-month contract, including the possibility of equity.
